JEE Main
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) comprises of two papers. The Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments, as well as an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Candidates of UPSEE (2022) will take JEE (Main) 2022. The Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country. From last year, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow also uses the score sheet of JEE (Main) for admission to the B.Tech / M.Tech (Integrated)/B.Arch. Courses in its affiliated colleges across the State.
The JEE (Main) 2022 will be conducted in multiple sessions for admissions in the next academic session.The candidates will thus benefit in the following ways:
• This will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they are not able to give their best in one attempt.
• In first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the next time.
• This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste a full year.
• If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control (such as Board examination), then he/she will not have to wait for one full year.
• A candidate need not appear in all the four Sessions. However, if candidate appears in more than one Session then his/her best of the 2022 NTA Scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an engineering entrance assessment conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India. It is constituted by two different examinations: the JEE-Main and the JEE-Advanced.
JEE Main mainly consists of three papers mainly and will be conducted in two shifts – morning and evening. The general layout of the exam pattern for JEE Main is given below;

NTA will release JEE Main 2022 Answer key for B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Plan exam for all phases. Candidates can download the answer key from the official website i.e. https://jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can use their application number and DOB or password to check the JEE Main 2022 question paper and answer keys. The authority will first release the preliminary answer key for students to raise objections if any. If aspirants are not satisfied with the answer key, may challenge the same by paying INR 200 fee per question. No challenge will be accepted without receipt of the processing fee.
The final JEE Main answer key PDF will contain Question ID and Correct question ID for all three sections of JEE Main Question Paper. Using JEE Main answer key candidates can predict their score by cross-checking correct and incorrect responses.
JEE Main Answer Keys
Soon after the examination, National Testing Agency also releases or publishes the set wise answer keys representing the correct options of all the questions asked in JEE Main.
With the help of these answer keys, students can calculate their expected scores before the results are announced. After successful completion of the exam, the official link for answer keys will be made available on the website using which the applicants can download and access the documents.
How to download JEE Main Answer Keys?
To download the answer keys, open the official link published by the conducting authority. Submit your application number and password followed by the selection of your date and slot of JEE Main examination. The answer keys will be displayed. The students can also download it for future references.
Challenging JEE Main Answer Keys: Initially, the provisional answer keys are released. After comparing the results applicants can raise their objections. This should be done within a certain time frame. After considering all the valid objections, the final answer keys of JEE Main are announced.

Along with the mock tests, students are also advised to practice previous year’s JEE Main question papers to boost their success rate in such a highly competitive entrance exam.
